Lovely Easter Egg Colors
PostedFebruary 16, 2017
I bought both the citron and the aqua, and they are both absolutely gorgeous colors. I'd say they are Easter egg colors, actually :) perfect for spring and summer here in S. Texas, where it's hot. One size down from my usual makes them a perfect fit. I'm very pleased.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I like it!
PostedFebruary 16, 2017
I was tempted by this only because of the sale price and did not expect to be as pleased as I actually am with it. I followed the advice of the reviewers and ordered a size down (XL to L), which is a perfect fit and does not look boxy. The color is not my best, but with a little bronzer and extra blush on my face and neck, I can pull it off. I was concerned about the care of this top and that it would (God forbid) need ironing, but it's easy--hand wash cycle in the washing machine, hang it up to dry, and I'm good to go.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Round neckline. Front placket with mother-of-pearl buttons. Long sleeves with buttoned cuffs. Side vents. Layer over a tank or cami. Shirttail hemline.

Very flattering, very easy care. Can go dressy or casual. I bought the dark color and do not need a cami underneath it. I am absolutely delighted with this purchase.

Perfect
PostedDecember 20, 2016
I had a pair of the wide-legged indigo knit pants from a couple years ago and was unhappy with them because they had a huge waist and were baggy; however, J. Jill has corrected those issues. I loved the idea of a knit stretch jean but hated the fit, so when I opened these up, I prayed to the fashion gods "Please let them fit, please let them be comfortable, and please let them look good." Bingo! All three. I am very happy :)

Perfect
PostedNovember 1, 2013
Thank goodness J. Jill offered a black jean this year, because I needed a pair and J. Jill sells the only jeans that fit me. I first bought my normal petite size, but the length looked awful on me, so I returned them and bought a regular size. The length is now perfect, and I am a very happy camper--as usual, I love them. They look great and are all-day comfortable. Who could ask for more?

Sent them back
PostedNovember 1, 2013
I bought a size 9, which I generally wear in a sandal, and they were too big, so I sent them back. When they went on sale, I thought maybe an 8-1/2 would fit, but they were too narrow, so I sent them back. A shame, because these sandals are very cute and classic, but what good are they if they don't fit?

I was not expecting these shoes to be comfortable, but they are so attractive I had to try them. Not only are they completely comfortable, they are well made of quality leather and stylish as well. Shoes don't get much better than these :)

Surprising
PostedOctober 1, 2013
I thought I'd try this, but feared this slinky rayon fabric would show every little blob of cellulite. Not this shirt, though! I also wasn't sure I'd be crazy about the neckline, but it looks great. I love the green color and will wear this a lot into winter, so it turns out I'm pleased with it. Wasn't expecting to be.
This weight is about all we can stand down here in South Texas until after Christmas. I am very happy J. Jill makes lightweight clothing in their fall and winter collections. Used to be you had to buy summer clothes in dark colors for fall, if you could find them. This is great! Something not black or navy blue...

Can't Get Over These Shoes :)
PostedOctober 1, 2013
I got the silver ones. These are so soft inside and a perfect fit. I can't get over it! I like the hidden wedge for a little extra height, too, though I was afraid it would be funny looking. I went ahead and tried them, because I find a little heel more comfortable than a flat shoe. Besides the comfort walking in them, they look just great!
I am funny about shoes--my old feet hurt almost all the time--but these are very comfy and also adorable. I am very happy with them. I hope J. Jill makes some more in many colors. I would definitely buy black, red and navy.

So-So

I love the curved hem on this tee, but this tee runs small. It looks kind of dowdy on me, too. It was a bargain, so I am keeping it to wear for gardening, housework, etc. It does wash up nicely.

Citron color?

The picture on the model looks yellow. The color swatch looks like a lime green. Which is it?
Topic:color
It tends more toward the yellow side of the green-yellow spectrum, but there is definitely a green tinge to it. It's a unique color--and a beautiful one.

Round neckline. Front placket with mother-of-pearl buttons. Long sleeves with buttoned cuffs. Side vents. Layer over a tank or cami. Shirttail hemline.

Is the smocking fixed stitching or elastic stitching?

Is there any give in the bust or does it not give at all? I wear XL but last year I got one woven cloth shirt (double cloth red plaid) that was too tight in the bust, so need to ask. Thanks.
Topic:Fit
A little stretchy but not ridiculously so--the garment has some give but holds its shape--just right.

Is this shirt see through (specifically the blue/white one)?

No, and I did buy the blue/white one. It runs a little small, though, compared to other XL's I've bought from J. Jill.

Sheerness

Purchasing as a gift for relative who will not wear if fabric is see-through and also will not wear cami under it. So is this as thick as wearever tankIwhich she does wear) or similar or sheerer?
Topic:Fabric
I do not find a cami necessary with this garment. This is a little flatter, less textured knit than Wearever and pretty similar in weight. BTW, no see-through is also a big deal to me, and I am very pleased with this item. You can buy it for your friend with confidence.

Our all-time favorite woven linen pants. Elasticized waist. On-seam pockets.

Petite M?

I'm looking for advice on the right fit.
I have one pair of forever wear crop pants, love them! Size regular M.
I've tried that size in the linen crop pant, too high on my waist.
Didn't like the fit.

On the advice of a sales clerk, tried the petite L, as there were no petite M. PL, too big. But I like that they sit lower on my hips, not up on waist.

Anyone else have this situation?
Would love some linen crops for the fall.
Sizing is getting tricky.
Petite vs regular?
Topic:Size, Fit
I have the same problem with Misses sizes, so I have gone to my same size in a Petite for pants. Perfect solution! Voila!!

what size should I get? wearever I can fit into xl in pants but i dont like items tight

and how wrinkled to they get
Topic:Size, Fabric, Quality, Fit
I wear a PXL pant, and they are a perfect fit--they are well cut and tailored, but they stand out from the body a bit like in the picture. Very comfortable.

After the second wash, they got soft and just slightly rumpled-looking but not messy or creased. I only ever ironed them after the first wash, and I'm on my 3rd to 4th season wearing them. I have them in 4 colors--these are my go-to crops in summer. I just love them--highly recommend.

Would it be possible to design these without pockets ? Most clients do not need "extra upholstery" or bulk in this area.

Pocket items can easily be carried separately.
Less bulk looks better.
Thank you
Topic:Fit, smooth silhouette
These fit fairly loosely, so the pockets don't "show." They *are* convenient. I miss pockets in so many of my crops and pants!

A lightweight, delicate layering piece with a flyaway front. Rolled edges. High-hip length. Linen, rayon and cotton. Hand wash or dry clean. Imported.

How well does this cardigan hold up after laundering?

This cardigan got picks in it before I ever even washed it. To be on the safe side, I'll have it dry cleaned if I ever wear it enough to get it dirty enough to take to the cleaners.
