Great dress
PostedAugust 7, 2017
I walked into my local J Jill store and I immediately saw this dress. Had to try on- just loved it. It is very soft with the Pima cotton, pockets, very cute design. Would not have purchased if not seen in person/verses online I am 5'2", 148#, 36D, sometimes I need a LP, but this must run abit large, as it is very roomy. These will not last long. As I was in the store, there were 3 other gals trying on the same dress. Perfect dress to lead into fall with a cardigan.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Not for me
PostedJuly 8, 2017
I purchased the LP - hoping the buttons wouldn't pull. Now the dress is too big all over. The MP was too tight in the bust, so I am out of luck with this dress. I also didn't like the lenght-below my knee. Felt dowdy in the dress. For ref, I am 5"2", 36D, 145#

Great summer skirt
PostedJune 19, 2017
I purchased the MP - 5'2", 145#, 41" hips (apple shaped) and the MP was perfect. Love the pockets and love that you can wear with many colored t shirts. I also purchased the "thistle" colored T. Looks great. Easy pull on skirt. Fun to wear for this Senior and not too short-just right.

Great dress
PostedMay 27, 2017
I purchased the MP, 5'2", 145#, 36c. I did not find this dress to run huge like other reviewers stated. It was a great fit for my apple shaped figure. Loved that it was lined, very well made and will enjoy this dress. It could be dressy or a casual look-depending how you accesorize it. It is very flattering on me.

Loving the Island Blue color
PostedMay 20, 2017
I have blonde hair, 5'2" 145# and this top fits perfectly for my small frame. It's not long and most ponchos swallow me up. I purchased an Island Blue tank to wear under the poncho. It will be a great look with white capris and sandals. Be careful wearing jewelry with this poncho to avoid snagging. I don't think it needs any jewelry.

PostedMay 9, 2017
First of all, this little night shirt is way overpriced. I purchased the LP because I loved the short winter sleepgown and the LP was nice a roomy and soft and comfortable. The summer version is of a lighter cotton and has a cute neckline but the LP was tight. Will return and wait for a good sale if I purchase a PXL so I can have a roomy summer nightie. I am normally a MP in J Jill clothes.

Runs Wide
PostedApril 19, 2017
I purchased this shoe in a 7M. After trying them on and walking around, my foot didn't feel secure and they were just too wide. Knowing they were leather, they would stretch out even more. Had to send back. Nice heel height and attractive.

Flattering top
PostedMarch 22, 2017
I purchased the grey and the black in MP. I am 5'1", #145, 38C. The grey top sort of pulled around the back, but the black went on so nicely, no pulling, very flattering. It looks like a high quality top, so can dress up with a scarf with leggings. I will probably return the grey one. Love the drop waist effect.

I purchased the burgundy color in MP. I am 5'1", 36C and 145#. The fit is loose and has a great drape with it slightly longer in the back. The neck lays beautifully. I like that it is not a heavy knit top. I am always too warm. Going back for the white one. Good job J JIll. !!!!!

sizing

I wear a size 7M in a shoe. You are offering size 37 and 38, where by the chart I need a 37 1/2. which you don't offer. What size should I order?

Our button-front A-line tunic in the light linen you love. Front patch pocket. Bust darts. Back yoke. Shell buttons. Shirttail hemline in the front. Back hemline is straight. Side vents. A-line silhouette. Layer white over a tank or cami.

Sizes

I am a 36D and usually a MP works for me except when there is buttons. Should I get a larger size to avoid the pulling at the buttons? Does it run on the large side?

Our crew-neck tank in lightweight linen knit has a subtle slub texture. Inverted center-back pleat. Shirttail hemline.

Does this tank run big?

Our feminine shirt with a soft, fluid drape and subtle texture. Mother-of-pearl buttons. Bust darts. Long sleeves with buttoned cuffs. Pleats below the back yoke. Shirttail hemline is slightly longer in back.

Sizing

When I order a buttoned shirt, I always have to size up to avoid the buttons gaping at the chest. People are saying this blouse runs large. I normally wear a MP, 5'1", #138, 36C. Should I still order up? I also can wear a Misses M, but prefer the petite sizes.

What is the length of this in MP

I know this is described as lo-hip length, but I'm noticing that you are not listing the actual length in " on some of your new arrivals. Is this the new trend. Hope not, I depend on the description to list the inches for the length. Thank you.

Our open-front A-line cardi is lightweight and has soft shirring below the back yoke. Subtle slub texture. Hemline is curved and slightly longer in back.

Real size listing please!

All the reviews are helpful. What is missing is mentioning the size. It helps if a person will list what their normal size is and how the particular garment fit.

I am usually a MP, I ordered the SP- 5'2" #145, 36C-fits great. This runs large-ordered the Thisle color-gorgeous with the matching linen tank and the skirt with seahorses.

Our open-stitch poncho with a ribbed trim on one side of the dipped hemline. Linen and cotton knit.

Are the measurements listed correct?

The measurements listed for this poncho don't seem right. It appears to be similar in size to the wearever ponchos, but it is listed as 26 1/2 by 25 1/2 and that seems a bit small. Is it correct?

Our fine-gauge knit vest is a perfect light layer. Cascading open front. Virtually wrinkle free. Made from soft European yarns.

How does this fit?

The vest on the model looks quite big. Can you tell me about the fit. I generally wear a size 10, but wondered if I should buy a small or a medium. I occasionally have to size down in Wearever because some items are made with an overly generous fit.
Topic:Fit
I would size down. This vest has a generous cut and will not be tight with a size small. I normally am a MP in J jill clothes. Ordered this in SP. Perfect.!!

Our lightweight A-line top has front and back princess seams. Agoya shell buttons. Hemline is slightly longer in the back.

Does it run true to size?

Topic:Fit
How can the gal that is 5'6" and weigh 150 and find the medium too big?. She must not have a large chest. Perhaps she is pear shaped. I am petite, 5'1', 135#, 36C and the MP is my size. I am apple-shaped. So hard to say what it means "true to size"! My MP fits perfect for me. I purchased the black/white and is my favorite summer top. Arm holes are perfect as well.

Fabric weight?

I've never tried these pants, so I'm wondering if they might be too hot for California's central valley? Also, if they are lightweight, are the white pants at all see-through?
Topic:Fabric
Yes, they are lightweight and no my white crops are not see-through. Check out the new Sandbar color. Beautiful shade of beige. I have 4 prs now, the black, white, blue and now the Sandbar. Very comfortable during warm weather.
