Not impressed

I usually love JJill pants and leggings. Not this time. These are not leggings at all; to give them such a name is misleading. They are skinny jeans. I was looking for true leggings. Also, the fit is not great, especially at the top, and I hate the horizontal back seam at the knee level. Any other pants/leggings from JJill have been better that these. I will keep them because I bought them very discounted, but I will stick to your traditional jeans/leggings.

I have many JJill dresses and most of them are rayon. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this is a not flimsy cotton knit. Extremely comfortable and flattering for less than perfect bodies, with indispensable pockets, and truly knee length. It is perfect for summer, but can be taken into Fall and Spring with a cardigan on top or a t-shirt underneath. I am 5´1", 140 lbs, and the M petite fits perfectly. If anything is missing it would be some sheen in the fabric, but I can live without it. I would buy this style again if more colors were available.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice but...

The cotton material of this skirt is soft, thin and very comfortable, almost like a pajama. However, I was expecting some tailoring, as in other JJill skirts, but this one has none. Just an elastic waist and no pockets! The fact that the material is thin makes it also a bit clingy, so imperfections are revealed. Looks casual, but can be dressed up with a navy color jacket. I am glad I bought it on sale because, given the thin fabric and absence of tailoring, the regular price seems high.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Combines with many outfits, but needs ironing

I bought the coral and white colors. They both match wonderfully with a lot of JJill's items that I have in similar/complementary hues. However, the scarf needs ironing after washing (yes, I know it's linen, but who wants to iron a scarf?). And the border stitching shows, which is not very nice; one has to work a bit to place the scarf in a way that the stitches will be hidden. If it were not for these two flaws, I would rate it five stars. Still a great deal at the sale price.

The material is light and comfortable, and the print classy and lively. It can be paired with the "endive" (yellow/green) color sweater/tee, but it also looks great with black, and shades of pink/coral. It is a very versatile piece. I find it true to size, but a slightly different styling from other JJill skirts (which is not a bad thing). It looks stunning with a little black jacket, and very casual with a tee. And at the sale price it's a true steal. I am surprised to see that is has not sold out yet!
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is a great dress. For starters, it is really black and white, not beige, as it kind of looks in the picture. The fabric has some weight, which at first I thought would make it hot for summers, but once I put it on, it was light and perfect! I am usually a medium (5"1', 140 lbs), but risked with a small in this model, and it turned out to be a good decision, as the dress is close to my body, but not tight. I do not need a belt, but could use one to accessorize, if I want. It hides imperfections and makes me look taller. The fabric does not wrinkle, which makes it great for traveling. I would love to see same style in more colors!

This is a wonderfully soft (and stretchy) cotton skirt, with vibrant colors. I paired it with a white t-shirt and the coral color infinity scarf, and it looks stunning. It also looks great with beige. The skirt is very becoming, but indeed a bit short, so petite sizes might want to order the regular length in this particular case. Other than this minor flaw, this skirt is sure to please. The issue about the pockets is not an issue if the sizing is right, and this garment is true to size, IMO. Getting it at the sale price is just one more plus!

This is a lovely wrap. It is warm, yet not too heavy, the material is soft and warm; it can be used year round, and it will give any outfit a unique, personal touch. However, I am sure mine was sewn outside in. The sheen of the fabric, the right side of the stitches (I know because I knit) are all inside! And if I turn it inside out, the sheen and stitch look much better, but the label and, more importantly the seam shows! Can this be the reason why they went on sale? Still, and despite the flaw, a lovely garment!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I really like JJill tights. They are made of a quality mid-weight material (neither too thin, nor too thick). They are stretchy and comfortable. However, I was misguided by the color name and picture. I thought the "dark ocean" was more on the aquamarine (blue) palette, and it turned out to be totally (green) teal. It just does not match the dress for which I needed the tights, and they will be hard to combine with any of my other clothing. Were it not for this, I would have rated them five stars.

I have not had very good experiences with other JJill sandals, so I was skeptical about these. The look very nice, but I thought they would be narrow and tight since the straps are not elastic. Still, given the sale price, I decided to give them a try, and I am really happy I did. I usually wear a regular width, but sometimes I find shoes run narrow. However, it was not the case with these sandals. They are true to size and, just like other reviewers pointed out, they are very comfortable, and quite dressy. Can be worn with jeans or an evening dress.
Yes, I recommend this product.

what to wear with white leggings and are they thinner or is it just me??

I have wanted white leggings for a while, saw them on sale and snapped up a pair. When I put them on I felt like a beached whale! The white seem to be thinner than other leggings I own (none by JJill) and show lumps and bumps more than I would expect. I might keep them if I had an idea of what to wear with them. I am tall - 5'10" - so most tunics don't even cover my tush; in these, I need something that is completely tush-covering!

Anyway, I appreciate any thoughts on if they are actually thinner than darker colors, and also outfit suggestions...thanks

(also - the option on "what is your body type" is badly written- I am "tall" but I am also "curvy" with a true hourglass, but I have to choose between them.)
Topic:Quality, outfits
Have you tried wearing them with regular dresses? Since you have the white, they might look good paired with summer style, airy dresses. Long winter sweaters might also work. And last but not least, you can wear the leggings, a skirt, and a shirt, for a very young look. Take a peek at some children/teen catalogs, and see how the girls combine their leggings. I was reluctant, thinking that such combinations would not look good on a grown up, but if done correctly, they actually are very stylish. Good luck!

Our light-as-air scoop-neck tee. Long sleeves. Shirttail hemline. Low-hip length. Pima cotton and modal rayon. Machine wash. Imported.

Is this a summer weight tee? Why is rayon in so many things this season? Is it the new cotton?

Topic:Fabric, Comfort
Indeed a Summer tee; or a Spring/Autumn one if layered. It is really thin as air, or whisper weight. Mine had pinholes around the trouser zipper area after wearing it only twice. I am now using it as a pajama top, and it is really comfy!

A shimmering, elasticized cross-strap style. 3" natural jute-wrapped wedge. Lightly padded, canvas-lined footbed and latex sole. Made in Spain. European sizes (USA equivalents): 37 (6–6 1/2), 38 (7–7 1/2), 39 (8–8 1/2), 40 (9–9 1/2), 41 (10).

Is the latex sole noisy when you walk/step?

In other words, is it a hard or soft sole?
Topic:material
Hi, I would say it is a hard sole because it is not flexible due to the platform to which it is glued, but it does not make any noise when walking either, at least not on the street, on carpets or wooden floors, which is where I mostly walk.

Low hip does not mean much when you are 4'9" tall. Can you tell me the actual length of a Petite Medium from neck to tail. Thanks

I am 5"1' and the regular one covers up to the bottom of my buttocks. The length from neckline to bottom is 28".

Whare are the care cleaning instructions for this item

Does this item require drycleaning? Or what are the washing instructions - does it require ironing?
Topic:Care
The instructions state "machine wash cold with similar colors" "and "warm iron if needed", but I wash them by hand with very good results, and do iron them because I like the seams very well pressed. However, I think it might be worn without ironing if removed quickly from the dryer.
