Perfect cut, lovely color (purple), comfortable
PostedAugust 7, 2017
I thought that the unusual back waist seam would be a problem, but it is almost invisible. However, JJill fabrics are growing thinner and thinner as time goes by. Also, hard to find anything made of 100 per cent natural fibers now; everything has rayon or modal in it, which is quite disappointing. It used to be restricted to the Wearever line, but it now seems to have crept into most of your clothing.
Yes, I recommend this product.

It bleeds! Wash before using
PostedAugust 4, 2017
All the good reviews about this dress are true. It fits beautifully, it is comfortable, classy, great for summer, etc. Just one drawback: It bleeds!
The first time I used it, I discovered it had stained blue my white bra, and a summery straw bag I bought from JJill one or two seasons ago. The bra has a chance, but the straw bag now looks kind of dirty and not so pretty anymore.
I recommend washing the garment in hot water and then rinsing in cold water with vinegar to try and solve the issue.

Excellent, if you get the right size
PostedAugust 3, 2017
I am fully busted, Medium Petite in size. I tried the petite size of this dress at a store and found the empire waist line fell right at the lower end of my bust, making me look even bigger, so I had given up on it.
Browsing the website later on, I found the tall sizes, and decided to try the MT thinking that by wearing a tall size the empire waist line would fall well below my bust line, and I was right! My torso does not look any bigger with the tall size. There is also more coverage to my arms, which I like as well. Of course, the tall size dress falls well below my knees, but that is not a problem for me. Similarly, with the petite size the pockets seemed to be placed too high, and the tall size solved this issue as well.
Hope this helps other petite women who might have found the same issues with this pretty and light summer dress!

Found it too bulky, opaque and hot for summer weather.
PostedAugust 3, 2017
For a summer scarf, I found it too bulky, heavy and hot. Also, the navy blue color was too opaque for this season. Maybe better suited for fall/winter. But then again, this is my personal preference. I like my summer scarves on the lighter side. Other people might find this is a very pretty accesory.

If this is your style and you are not too petite, you won't be dissapointed
PostedJuly 29, 2017
For those of us who want our arms covered, but not to be stifled by the summer heat, these ruanas are a perfect solution. I prefer them over the closed ponchos because they are easier to put on and take off. The only problem for petites is that one size only tends to be too large. I can now use a lot of sleeveless dresses that I had put aside because a cardigan is too heavy for summer. Plus, the scarf dresses up any outfit beautifully. The pale blue, lavender and pink hues in this one will match many shades of the same group. JJill should make more of these, but in both regular and petite sizing.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Very good but not great
PostedMay 16, 2017
Extremely comfortable. True to size. However, I would not call it "ultrasoft." Pima tees or the "soft touch" tops are softer than this one, and that takes one star from this hoodie. Also, cuffs become undone often, so I decided to add a couple of stitches to keep them in place. Other than that, and the fact that it is pricey when not on sale, very nice, versatile topper. Goes with almost everything and can be dressed up or down. Love that it has pockets!

Soft and comfortable, but just OK
PostedMay 10, 2017
On the positive side, this dress is soft and comfortable.
On the negative side, it is very difficult to button the sleeves up. The buttons don't go into the holes easily, and I do not have any type of problem with my hands (i.e.: arthritis). It must be nearly impossible for people with limited finger mobility. It does wrinkle, so it needs ironing. It tends to slide backwards. And it's expensive if not on sale.
Overall, just another dress, which lacks wow factor. Recommend only because it is comfortable to wear and when on sale; otherwise, I would pass this one.

Very "springy." Matches most outfits
PostedApril 14, 2017
This is a delicate necklace, shiny but just enough. I have been pairing it with almost every outfit in the week since I bought it. Love the chain that can be worn longer or shorter. Material seems of good quality. Hope it will last and not fade. On sale, I find the price reasonable. I also bought the two tone hydrangea earrings, and have received a lot of compliments on both items.

Not becoming to full figured petites
PostedMarch 29, 2017
I thought the diagonal lines in this dress would be slimming, but I was wrong. I am 5 feet 1, 145 lbs. I ordered the medium petite, which fit right, but the pattern made me look huge! Sadly, it will go back. I have the same style in blue and green shades, with a much smaller pattern, and that one looks great. This pattern is definitively not a good choice for petites!

Going to get it in more colors!
PostedMarch 11, 2017
I was very reluctant to ordering this tee after all the negative reviews on the shoulder stitching of the boat neck. I took a chance based on the excellent price for the white color, and I am really glad I did.
While it is true that the boat neck could have been constructed differently, I do not see the lumping or padding that other reviewers mention. Yes the two ends of the boat neck are sewn at the shoulders, but that is what it looks like, and it does not bother me.
An additional quality is that the white cotton fabric is soft and light, and yet not see-through. I am so pleased with this pima cotton tee that I will order more colors.

Open stitches and thick-and-thin yarns give our pullover sweater rich texture. Functional buttons along the left side give you the option of wearing them opened or closed. Layer over a tank or cami. Boat neckline. 3/4-length sleeves.

How thick/warm is this sweater? Can it be worn comfortably in the hot months of summer in places like DC or will it be too hot?

Our soft woven-silk infinity scarf with a floral print.

What colors are in this scarf, & what colors & their names are in this scarf, & besi the matching wearever print shirt? match this scarf?

What are names of colors in this scarf? It looks like pinks, several greens, and peaches, bellini, shrimp, or bisques go with this scarf? I assume solids would go best. What shirts would match in the (in order of length preference) XLT, W2X, XL? Thanks.
Topic:colors in scarf names?, matching shirts?, no wool alpaca etc.
Hi, the scarf has a black background; the leaves are olive and sage green; the flowers are a mix of pale pink, peach, Bellini, lobster, and berry colors; there are also white flowers. I have matched this scarf with a wide palette of pink tops, from powder pink to coral. It also looks great with beige. It makes my little black dress look stunning. It is very versatile, I have found I can mix it with many of my tops and I just don't want to take it off!

It also pairs beautifully with coral or pink, and even yellow. It is hard to find a color that will not match. Maybe just red and black.
