Yes, this tunic is really great
PostedDecember 21, 2015
Previous reviews have completely covered all points. This tunic is a go-to. Nice fit, soft fabric, pretty colors. Hopefully, JJill will continue to make it in more springy colors and short sleeves.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Another comfortable cotton dress!
PostedDecember 21, 2015
I love it when JJill dresses are cotton and not rayon! This one is perfect for hot weather, and it has pockets as a plus. Some people might not like the loose A line, but I find it very forgiving for all types of body imperfections, not to mention extremely comfortable, and as breezy as it can get for warm places. Can be dressed up with not too high heels and a wrap.

Comfortable and beautiful!
PostedDecember 21, 2015
I recently discovered the JJill kimonos, and I already own four. The fist one I bought, in my usual size, M, was way too big. I bought this one in S and it fits the bill perfectly: loose without looking like a sack of potatoes. The fabric of this particular one is light, yet warm. It can be used in cool weather places like Miami, all the way up to Canada, with a turtleneck underneath. I love the easy elegance it provides, while being the most comfortable thing one could wear; it almost feels like my pajamas!

Not soft, no pockets, no good!
PostedDecember 4, 2015
I bought this over the Internet without seeing it in person. I thought the fabric would be softer, but it is a cheap, rough cotton, viscose, rayon and polyester blend. But the worse is that there are no pockets! First time I see a hoodie without pockets. It defeats the whole purpose of the jacket. Lightweight, good for Spring and Autumn only. Nice color.

Exceptionally light -but warm- vest
PostedOctober 29, 2015
There are already enough reviews praising the pattern and looks of this vest. What was very surprising to me is how light -but warm at the same time- it is. When I first touched it, I was sure it would be a "summer" vest, but after a few minutes of wearing it, I was so warm I had to take it off. The colors are indeed a bit darker than pictured, but that does not take anything away from the quality. Despite what other reviews say, I found it true to size in my usual medium. At the sale price with an additional discount, it is for sure a steal!

Pricey but so cute
PostedOctober 8, 2015
Even on sale, I find this tee to be somewhat expensive. However, it is so original and cute that it's well worth the splurge. In the picture, the shade looks grayish or white, but in the real garment it is more bluish. It makes it a perfect pair with anything jeans. Also with whites, blacks and greys. The sequins give a bohemian and/or a bit more dressy feel to the shirt. The fit is perfect: not too tight, but not loose either. I am not a big fan of slub, I would have preferred it in pima cotton, but this is no big deal, really.

Our premium supersoft stretch denim style designed with a special pocket construction to give you a more slimming (and comfortable) fit. Deep inside pocket bags extend from the side seam across to the fly front. The pockets are sewn in place with reinforced cross-stitching for more internal control. Sits just below the waist. Fly front. Updated front welt pockets. Back patch pockets. Back vent.

Indeed slimming, flattering and comfortable!
PostedSeptember 17, 2015
This skirt is everything the reviews say it is... except for the fake front pockets, which are real; one just has to take the thread away to open them. At regular price it might be a bit expensive, but it is worth every penny because it has excellent tailoring. I wish all JJill skirts were tailored like this one! Even though it is a "summery" skirt, it's use can be extended to Spring and Autumn, by pairing it with leggings, tights, boots and thicker sweaters/tops.

Soft and comfy, but huge!
PostedSeptember 16, 2015
The obi kimono is extremely comfortable, almost like a pajama, but equally as large! I am usually a MP, ordered a SP and there is still just too much material around me. I am thinking of sewing a bit of elastic in the inside, right at the horizontal seam, to gather the fabric a bit. Other than the size, a very nice and warm top.

Good option to remain fresh without exposing the arms at the same time
PostedSeptember 14, 2015
I bought the porcini/white, which is more porcini than white (I was expecting it to be a lighter shade). It is slightly boxy, but not as much as some of the other JJill kimonos. The stiff feeling disappears once it is washed/dried, and the drape then becomes better. Mixes well with many outfits.

Big disappointment
PostedSeptember 14, 2015
Based on all the positive reviews, I was convinced nothing could go wrong with this scarf, but I was mistaken. The colors of the item I received are far from the vibrant colors on the web picture. I chose the one in lavender/pink shades, which look very bright on the photo, and what I got is washed out pastels. The pink on the scarf I received is so pale that it just does not match the top I wanted to use it with. The material is nice and airy, but the colors are far from what is depicted. Maybe I got a defective item; otherwise, I cannot explain such a big difference in hues and all the positive reviews.

What is the blue/gray shirt shown with the skirt? Would "deep blue" go with the skirt?

Topic:Fabric
I bought this skirt, the pearl gray linen blouse, and the lemongrass tank to make a set, and they match perfectly together. I can also replace the lemongrass tank with a white, grey or black one, and they all match very well too. No blue shades would match, I believe.

Does this sweater run large?

Topic:Size
Yes, it does! I am 5 feet 2 inches, 140 pounds, curvy, and the medium petite was large. I would have fitted without a problem in a small petite. This seldom happens to me with JJill garments. If you want a relaxed look, buy your usual size, but if you want your curves to show, go one size down.

What color is Thistle Heather?

Thistle heather is true to the color depicted in the photo; close to the color of raspberries, I would say. A subdued fucshia-purple. The "heather" refers to the fact that there are some paler fibers mixed into the fabric. Hope this helps.

what to wear with white leggings and are they thinner or is it just me??

I have wanted white leggings for a while, saw them on sale and snapped up a pair. When I put them on I felt like a beached whale! The white seem to be thinner than other leggings I own (none by JJill) and show lumps and bumps more than I would expect. I might keep them if I had an idea of what to wear with them. I am tall - 5'10" - so most tunics don't even cover my tush; in these, I need something that is completely tush-covering!

Anyway, I appreciate any thoughts on if they are actually thinner than darker colors, and also outfit suggestions...thanks

(also - the option on "what is your body type" is badly written- I am "tall" but I am also "curvy" with a true hourglass, but I have to choose between them.)
Topic:Quality, outfits
Have you tried wearing them with regular dresses? Since you have the white, they might look good paired with summer style, airy dresses. Long winter sweaters might also work. And last but not least, you can wear the leggings, a skirt, and a shirt, for a very young look. Take a peek at some children/teen catalogs, and see how the girls combine their leggings. I was reluctant, thinking that such combinations would not look good on a grown up, but if done correctly, they actually are very stylish. Good luck!

Our light-as-air scoop-neck tee. Long sleeves. Shirttail hemline. Low-hip length. Pima cotton and modal rayon. Machine wash. Imported.

Is this a summer weight tee? Why is rayon in so many things this season? Is it the new cotton?

Topic:Fabric, Comfort
Indeed a Summer tee; or a Spring/Autumn one if layered. It is really thin as air, or whisper weight. Mine had pinholes around the trouser zipper area after wearing it only twice. I am now using it as a pajama top, and it is really comfy!
