These jeans are great, in that they have a fitted sleek fit without feeling tight and confining. They're fitted enough to wear with loose boxy tops that you might wear with leggings, but aren't so snug that you couldn't also wear more conventional tops. My only warning would be that if, like me, you frequently go down in size @ JJill., I think these run true to size. I ordered my normal size and they were fine. A smaller size would have been too tight. Also, they do run rather short, so if you're in-between petite and regular, or regular-tall, you might go for the longer option.

I like loose linen tops for summer. I don't deal well with the heat, so they work well, and also look presentable. I generally wear medium petite tops in other stores, but jjill clothes usually are rather generous, so I ordered a small petite. I'll probably keep it, but an extra small would probably fit better and closer to the fit on the picture of the model. Even 2 sizes down it would be the loose fit it's mean to have. I do like the neck line and pleats, flattering and could work for work or leisure.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is a nice versatile dress for when you have to look professional or dressed for an occasion, but it's hot out and you don't feel like dealing with dressing. It definitely runs large. I normally wear petite medium or petite small in most stores, though with Jjill I never though, since some of their clothes are cut rather generously. I ordered this in both petite medium and petite small and the petite medium was ridiculously big, not simply comfortably loose. The petite small fit me a tad looser around the hips than it shows on the photo model, but I am happy with the fit, particularly for something I'm wearing in warm weather. It feels wonderful on, and the neckline and sleeves are very flattering, and it would basically take up no space in your suitcase, though you would have to steam or iron before you wore it.

I really love this top because you can wear in untucked, and it looks absolutely perfect, since of course that's what's intended. It's extremely flattering in the cut, and very practical for spring summer days that aren't quite sleeveless weather. Would go with skirt or pants. I will say if you want it to fit like it does on the model, you might go down at least one size. In other stores, I usually wear a petite medium or petite small, though J jill usually runs a little big. I bought this in petite small, and I love the fit, but it's a little looser than the fit they show on the model. I actually think the slightly looser fit is more attractive than the fit they show online. This looks better in real life, and if I hadn't tried on in the store, I might not have bought it from seeing it online. I bought it in white, and it does need a camisole underneath because it is fairly see-through. Also, though I"m no spring chicken myself, I do shy away from things that seem too totally little old lady, and the open scallops at the bottom sent out an alert to me, but at least for me, I found it more stylish and less "retirement community"( not that there's anything wrong with that ;-)) when I actually put it on my body.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I am very happy with this sweater, bought in the bright turquoise color. Based on some of the reviews, I was anticipating a paper thin scratchy wool, so I was very pleased when it arrived and found it to be a nice soft cashmere, not super thick, but not flimsy either. I frequently buy Petite Med in other stores for tops, but I bought this in Petite Small and it is more than big enough, so if in doubt, go down a size. It's till plenty roomy for wearing with leggings in the small. You can wear it with some thing underneath ( i usually like a thin scoopneck tshirt) or alone. Because of the length and generous cut, i think it goes best with skinny pants or leggings. The torquoise color was bright but soft, not a harsh torquoise that can be unflattering (at least on me.) Very happy with this purchase.

This is a nice tunic sweater to throw on when you want to look presentable but comfortable on a weekend. I couldn't tell from the reviews how the sizing ran, so I got the Petite Medium, but Petite small might have been better. (In other stores, I generally buy tops in petite medium) While it's not one of their truly over-sized sweaters, it does run generous. I ended up keeping the medium partially out of laziness and because the bust does not run as large as the rest, and I thought it might pull across the chest in small. However, it doesn't fit me the way it shows on the picture, but is very loose on the bottom, so you might want to order down a size. Also, it's a true tunic, runs long, so really works better with leggings, or leggings-like pants. The color and style are both neutral so would really go with anything.

I actually liked this skirt more than I expected. it's comfortable and attractive. I think, like many JJill items, it runs a bit generously. I bought it at my normal size, and so it fits me differently from what you seen on the model. Personally, I like it looser, and think it's more flattering. Also, I'm under 5', so it hit me at the bottom of my knee. That was where I preferred, but I could see how this might run shorter than some people want. Also, this is for hot weather. Unless you live in a place where it's always hot, you will only wear this during the real summer months.

I don't like to wear shorts, so I look for light comfortable, casual, skirts for hot summer weekend days. This skirt is perfect for such days. It probably runs a little large. I normally wear a petite S or M, and I took a S in this, and it's a little loose, but I prefer that in the summer. It probably fits like I might expect from medium P in some brands, but it's not massively oversized. I wouldn't recommend this as a skirt for a professional/office environment, but it's a good little run-around do errands in skirt.

I love this top, and I just hope it stays looking this good after many washings. You should probably order a size down from your normal size, but it is not as extremely oversized as some other J Jill tops. At times, even wanting to maintain the oversized loose style, I've had to go down 2 sizes in J Jill tops, but in this one, one size down fits perfectly while still fitting loosely as shown in the picture. It is perfect for warm days when you don't want to go completely sleeveless. It works well out or tucked in and the blue is a lovely sky blue color. Also, extremely comfortable.

Cute, but bad cut for my body

This dress looked like a good item that you could easily put on on a hot day. However it didn't work for me. I bought a small petite and I felt as though it was tugging more than was comfortable across my chest. The medium was just kind of huge, even though I like my clothes loose. So, if your chest is proportionately bigger than the rest of you, this might not work for you.

SelectivePetite's Questions

Our versatile, button-front V-neck style in a flattering A-line silhouette. Patch pocket. Long sleeves. Side vents. Shell buttons. Back yoke above soft box pleats. Hemline is curved and slightly longer at back. Low-hip length. Cotton, polyester and spandex. Machine wash. Imported.

sizing

If I wear petite small in your looser style tops, and petite medium in your more fitted tops, which would you recommend? Proportionately, I'm a bit bigger around the chest than the hips. In your really loose kimono style sweaters, I wear extra small. So, I'm very confused, and I don't like things pulling at the bust lilne..

Our light, relaxed sweater with feminine floral cutwork, enhanced with delicate eyelet. Layer over a tank or cami. Rounded neckline. Dropped shoulders. Long sleeves. Ribbed trim. Low-hip length. Linen, polyester and rayon. Hand wash or dry clean. Imported.

I noticed on a couple of the reviews that they are saying that the pullover is running slightly large. Should I size down??

Topic:Size
I bought a size down and I like my sweaters to fit loose and casual, and i was happy with the fit. It fits loosely just like you see on the model. My normal size would have been unattractively large.

Fit/Size

Is this true to size or does it run large? Some fit perfect whereas others are too large when I order (L)...am more of a 12-14 fit. Thank you!
Topic:Size, Fit
It is a bit oversized, but not as much as some Jjill tops. I went down 1 size, and it was loose as shown in picture, but not bigger than it was meant to be. At times in some JJill tops I've needed to go down 2 sizes to get something that wasn't ridiculously big. I normally wear a size 8 petite top or MP (i like my clothes a bit loose), and in this the SP fit perfectly. In the truly oversized JJIll styles I need to get an Extra Small petite, and that would have been too small for me in this one. Hope this provides a little help.
