This is a wonderful dress to have in your closet...to wear for a special party, or just out & about for the day! I love-love-love, a dress, that you can dress up or down~for anything. ( & this is one of them!) It's also quite soft, w/ very pretty details! ( I got this one, in black.)
I'm only 5'4", but also, curvy & slightly-full-figured, & I got this in regular xl,to be safe.( didn't get petite, as I often do-none were left in "black," during big sale! ) It's only a bit large~but I like it longer! Also, I prefer not to worry that clothing will, "hug me," where I don't need it to! (- hard to be sure of, w/ "mail-orders.)
I used to know what size I needed, in any j.jill item..but times are changing, I guess.( I'm not always right, anymore.) The clothing is still beautiful, though & comfy-cozy~like this dress!
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is my 1st review, here..but this is a J.Jill treasure, to me~so I wrote this lengthy review:
I'm a curvy (in mid 40's) mom, who's 5'4."( & I need to lose weight!) I buy L or XL, in most J.Jill clothing...w/ some items in petite & some in regular sz. I find, that the sz. I need (w/ my weight) usually doesn't fit well,(due to my height) & "petites," don't always work for me. My 1st.order of this lovely sweater (perfect for layering..) was a, petite xl (perfect) & then in a regular, sz. large, the 2nd time. (during the great sale-large was only sz. still available~so I gave it a try!) SO glad I went for the 2nd.one~both "tanks" fit me! I've always had a hard time, finding any "tank." (top or sweater) that fits near my arms, AND, on my body. Somehow~BOTH sweaters fit me! These are also, very soft, they hang well, on the body(no clinging) & the arm holes, don't run too long/big!
( as they often do, on xl & large size tanks..even in many petites..) The sale was a nice bonus, w/ this perfect sweater!
Yes, I recommend this product.

pixiemom2's Questions

Our supersoft A-line style with light shirring at the collar. This sweater is a fully fashioned style, meaning the subtle texture in the yarn stitches are indicative of its high quality and the knitting technique used to create its easy A-line shape. Long sleeves. Low-hip length. Combed cotton, viscose rayon, nylon and wool. Hand wash or dry clean. Imported.

For women w/ curvy or a full-figured body, did this style look like maternity wear, at all?

I LOVE the look of this sweater very much~and love some of the colors~but I have a full-figured bottom and curves on top..so, I'm curious to know, if anyone w/ a similar shape, found this sweater to look, too much like, "maternity wear?!" Nothing worse than a "cute, bottom flare" on a sweater/ top..that makes me look "pregnant," instead of, "cute!" Thank you to anyone w/ any help! .. Btw~I am 5'4" & 42C at top..w/ a hips aprox. 46"....so I need some advice!
